AreaHub and SourceRE Announce Data Partnership

Denver - SourceRE and AreaHub announced a partnership that will allow Multiple Listing Services (MLSs) to obtain clear climate and environmental risk information seamlessly for any of their U.S. listings.

As climate risks take on a more active role in home buyers’ decision-making process,  SourceRE clients will be able to leverage AreaHub’s data to enable their agents to access climate and other area-specific information that clients are increasingly seeking.

 

“Progressive MLSs are at an inflection point; expanding their data footprint beyond just listing data. Environmental information and climate risk factors are a natural addition to the existing compilation,” said SourceRE President, Bill Fowler. “AreaHub, via SourceRE, will now be offering this data as an option to fill an immediate need for MLSs and the markets they serve.”

 

By equipping agents with area information, MLSs can independently manage their data in a new and more flexible model while also addressing transparency to better arm real estate agents with additional tools to add value for their clients.
